On the sidelines of the COP28 Summit in Dubai, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in significant diplomatic discussions. He met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, emphasizing collaborative efforts for a sustainable and prosperous future between India and Italy.
In a tweet, PM Modi expressed anticipation for fruitful collaborations, stating, “Looking forward to collaborative efforts between India and Italy for a sustainable and prosperous future.”
PM Modi also had a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, where he reaffirmed India’s support for a prompt and enduring resolution of the Israel-Palestine issue through dialogue and diplomacy.
The Indian Prime Minister received a warm welcome from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the COP28 venue in Dubai.
“Glad to join the COP-28 Summit, a pivotal platform for global climate action. Looking forward to engaging in meaningful dialogues and collaborations for a sustainable future,” Modi expressed on X.
Before departing from Delhi, PM Modi highlighted his satisfaction with the significant event being held under the Presidency of the UAE.
