The Odisha Police Special Task Force (STF) apprehends a Kashmiri man, Sayed Ishaan Bukhari, for impersonating a PMO official and an Army doctor, engaging in fraudulent activities, and marrying multiple women across various states. The 37-year-old, with reported links to individuals in Pakistan and suspicious elements in Kerala, was captured in Neulpur village, Jajpur district, based on a tip-off.

STF Inspector General JN Pankaj reveals that the accused, using forged documents, posed as a Neuro Specialist, Army Doctor, PMO officer, and an associate of high-ranking NIA officials. Seized items include forged medical degree certificates, affidavits, bonds, ATM cards, blank cheques, Aadhaar cards, and visiting cards.

Pankaj discloses, “It was also found that the accused has married at least 6-7 women from various parts of India, including Kashmir, UP, Maharashtra, and Odisha.” The accused faces allegations of cheating and forgery, with a non-bailable warrant pending against him by Kashmir Police. The STF, in collaboration with police from Punjab, Kashmir, and Odisha, plans to interrogate him.
