Lok Sabha Election date 2024: 1.82 crore new voters to cast ballots

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The complete schedule has been released during a press conference by the Election Commission. Let’s take a look at the total number of registered voters for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, along with the participation of new voters.

Lok Sabha Election Date 2024

– Total Voters: Approximately 97 Crore

– Youth Voters: 21.5 Crore

– New Voters: 1.82 Crore, including 85 lakh female voters

– Physically Disabled Voters: 88 lakh

– Voters above 85 years of age: 82 lakh

– 2 lakh 18 thousand voters are over 100 years old

– Male Voters: 49.7 Crore

– Female Voters: 47.1 Crore

– The gender ratio of female voters is now 9.48

– In 12 states, the gender ratio is over 1000, meaning there are more female voters than male voters

– 1.89 Crore new voters have been added, with a slightly higher proportion of young female voters
