New Delhi:In a stunning revelation, a recent opinion poll conducted by News18 suggests that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is on track to secure a whopping 411 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The poll further predicts that the BJP alone could secure around 300 seats, signaling a resounding mandate for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

The survey indicates a bleak outlook for the opposition bloc INDIA, which is projected to secure only 105 seats in the lower house, with the Congress expected to win just 49 seats. If these predictions materialize, it would mark a significant setback for the Congress party, reminiscent of its dismal performance in the 2014 polls.

Key highlights from the opinion poll include:

-Maharashtra:The BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP alliance is expected to sweep Maharashtra once again, securing 41 out of the 48 seats, while the INDIA bloc comprising Congress and allies may manage only seven seats.

– West Bengal:The poll suggests a decline for the Trinamool Congress, with the BJP poised to make substantial gains by winning 25 out of the 42 seats. Meanwhile, the TMC is expected to secure only 17 seats, leaving none for the Congress.

– Karnataka:The NDA is projected to repeat its 2019 performance in Karnataka, winning 25 out of the 28 seats, with the Congress expected to claim only three seats.

– Gujarat: The BJP is anticipated to sweep all 26 seats in Gujarat once again, maintaining its stronghold in the state.

– Telangana:The BJP is predicted to make significant inroads in Telangana, winning eight out of the 17 seats, while the ruling Congress is expected to secure six seats.

– Odisha: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is forecasted to win eight seats, with the BJP expected to secure 13 seats in Odisha.

– Uttar Pradesh: The NDA is set to dominate Uttar Pradesh, securing a landslide victory with 77 out of the 80 seats, leaving only two for the INDIA bloc and one for the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP).

These projections paint a picture of a decisive mandate in favor of the BJP-led NDA, reaffirming the party’s dominance on the national stage. Stay tuned for further updates and analysis as the Lok Sabha elections draw nearer.
