Bhopal,In a surprising turn of events in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attributed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) dominant performance to the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the party leading in 160 out of 230 seats, the BJP seems poised for a spectacular victory.
Chouhan praised PM Modi’s impactful public rallies, stating that they resonated with the people of Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized, “PM Modi held public rallies here and appealed to the people, and that touched people’s hearts.” Chouhan expressed the belief that the love and support for the BJP were evident across the state.
The Chief Minister highlighted the successful implementation of central government schemes and locally formulated initiatives, stating, “The double-engine government properly implemented the schemes of the central government, and the schemes that were formed here also touched people’s hearts.” He confidently predicted a comfortable and grand majority for the BJP.
In contrast, the Congress, which had a significant lead in Telangana, is trailing behind in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The BJP’s dominance in Madhya Pradesh is further solidified with the party currently ruling the state.
As the election results unfold, Chouhan’s acknowledgment of PM Modi’s impact on the electoral outcome adds an interesting dimension to the political landscape.
