Aizawl, In a scenario suggesting a hung assembly in Mizoram, none of the political parties is anticipated to secure the majority mark of 21 seats, as per exit poll projections. The polls also indicate a significant setback for Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga’s party, Mizo National Front (MNF).

Key Exit Poll Insights:

The Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) emerges as a frontrunner with a projected 19-20 seats, while the ruling MNF faces a potential setback with only 12-13 seats, as per the poll of polls analysis.

The possibility of no party crossing the crucial 21-seat mark adds a layer of uncertainty to the political landscape of Mizoram.

It’s important to note that a political party must secure at least 21 seats to establish a government in Mizoram.

The Mizoram Election 2023 results, scheduled to be announced after the vote counting on December 3, will unveil the final verdict and shape the future political dynamics in the state.
