Lucknow,  In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya on December 30, a robust security apparatus is set to be in place. The security detail includes 5,000 police personnel and four teams of National Security Guards (NSG). The PM’s arrival at Ayodhya airport is scheduled for 10:45 am, with departure slated for approximately 2:15 pm. To reinforce security, six companies of the Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF) have reached the temple town.

A senior officer at the Director General of Police (DGP) headquarters revealed that 2,000 police constables will join on Friday, accompanied by 14 companies of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC). The district will witness the deployment of 17 superintendents of police, 40 additional SPs, 82 circle officers, and 90 inspectors. A specialized team of 75 traffic policemen will regulate traffic flow during the visit.

SSP Raj Karan Nayyar outlined the establishment of three super zones and 14 zones, all overseen by DIG rank officials. Additionally, a dedicated security wing, comprising the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and PAC, will focus on riverine security. Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based drones will enhance surveillance capabilities.

The heightened security measures aim to ensure the safety of Prime Minister Modi during his visit. The deployment of NSG commandos and a substantial police presence underscores the significance of maintaining order and addressing potential security challenges.
