Patna, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Yadav, refrained from commenting on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s controversial “Bihar DNA” remark. When asked to share his views on Reddy’s statement, Yadav stated, “I have not heard his (Revanth Reddy) comments, and it is not correct to comment on an issue which I have not heard from my ears or seen from my eyes.”

This statement comes amidst a political uproar, with the BJP urging the Congress and other members of the INDIA bloc, including the RJD, to condemn Reddy’s comment and request an unconditional apology.

Revanth Reddy, recently sworn in as Chief Minister of Telangana, stirred controversy by suggesting that K Chandrashekar Rao has “Bihar DNA.” Reddy indicated that Rao’s origins from Bihar made him a better choice for Telangana than KCR. The BJP has sought condemnation and an apology for these remarks.
