Patna, The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), led by Lalu Prasad, has commissioned an independent agency to conduct a survey aiming to assess the impact of the recently released caste survey report and the subsequent increase in quota percentage for reserved categories by the state government. The survey is focused on understanding the sentiments of the common masses and determining the RJD’s position across all 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar.

Sources within the RJD reveal that the survey aims to gather public opinion about the Bihar caste survey and the raised quota percentages for various communities. The information obtained will play a crucial role in shaping the party’s strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The two initiatives by the Nitish Kumar government, the caste survey report and the increased quota percentage, have stirred political discussions nationwide and influenced demands for caste census at the national level. As various states and political parties weigh in on the matter, the RJD seeks to gauge public sentiment and align its poll strategy accordingly.

The survey will also delve into the political landscape of the RJD’s alliance partners, evaluating the political strength of each party. With the ruling Grand Alliance (GA) consisting of RJD, JD(U), Congress, and three Left parties, the survey aims to determine the optimal distribution of seats among the alliance members for a favorable electoral outcome.

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the political landscape in Bihar undergoes dynamic shifts, with alliance partners vying for a significant share of seats. The survey results are expected to provide strategic insights for the RJD and its allies as they navigate the complexities of Bihar’s political scenario.
