New Delhi,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new terminal building at Tiruchirappalli International Airport during his visit to Tamil Nadu. The airport, developed at a cost of over ₹1,100 crore, boasts a design inspired by Tiruchirappalli’s cultural vibrancy, featuring elements from Kolam art to the colors of Srirangam Temple.

PM Modi’s two-day visit will also include laying the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth more than ₹19,850 crore in Tamil Nadu. The programs commence in Tiruchirappalli, where the Bharathidasan University Convocation Ceremony will be addressed.

In addition to the airport inauguration, the Prime Minister is scheduled to dedicate various development works during the visit.
