The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a crucial notice to candidates applying for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, commonly known as SSC GD 2024. The commission advises candidates to submit their applications well in advance of the closing date, which is December 31, to avoid potential issues arising from heavy traffic on the servers.
Candidates are strongly cautioned that no extension will be granted for the submission of applications under any circumstances. The last date for online fee payment is scheduled for January 1, 2024.
The SSC GD 2024 examination aims to fill 26,146 vacancies across various organizations, including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF. Candidates applying for SSC GD should have passed Class 10 from a recognized board, with an age limit of 18-23 years as of January 1, 2024.
The recruitment process involves stages such as Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. Candidates are reminded that the application fee for SSC GD 2024 is ₹100, with exemptions for women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation.
