UCL announces scholarship scheme for Indian students to study in the UK

University College London (UCL) initiates a scholarship program to aid 100 bright Indian students pursuing Master’s degrees in the UK.

UCL Vice-President, Kirsty Walker, and Vanita Uppal OBE, Director, The British School New Delhi, officially launched the scheme, offering £5,000 scholarships to exceptional students for the 2024–25 academic year. An additional 67 scholarships will be awarded in the following two years.

President and Provost of UCL, Dr. Michael Spence, expressed delight, emphasizing their commitment to Indian students and the global community. The UCL India Excellence Scholarships aim to strengthen ties and provide resources for Indian students at UCL.

Inaugural UCL India Summer School Announced

The press release reveals plans for the inaugural UCL India Summer School from June 10 to June 14, 2024. This program will feature modules delivered by five leading UCL professors to 50 students in years 10 and 11.
