In a decisive turn of events in Bihar politics, the recent upheaval has come to an end with Nitish Kumar once again joining hands with the NDA to form a new government. The Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, finalized the formation of his new cabinet on Sunday. Within his new government, Samrat Chaudhary, the BJP state president, and opposition leader Vijay Sinha have been appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers. The political corridors are witnessing shifts in power dynamics due to these changes.

According to sources, Nitish Kumar had scripted this political move as early as January 13 when he decided to part ways with the Mahagathbandhan and align with the NDA. On that day, during a virtual meeting of opposition parties, known as the INDIA Alliance, Rahul Gandhi made remarks that reportedly displeased Nitish Kumar. The dissatisfaction was significant enough for Nitish Kumar to leave the meeting abruptly, just 10 minutes before its conclusion.

These recent developments highlight the intricacies and rapid changes in Bihar’s political landscape, culminating in the formation of a new government under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, marking a shift in alliances and power dynamics.
