New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the BJP Parliamentary Party Meeting, emphasized the collective strength behind the recent assembly election victories. Acknowledging the party’s excellent performance, PM Modi dismissed assertions of BJP’s weakness at the state level, citing significant gains in Mizoram and Telangana. He urged BJP workers to address him simply as “Modi” instead of “Modiji,” emphasizing a collaborative approach within the party.
Reflecting on the recent assembly elections, PM Modi stated, “It is the victory of our collective strength,” attributing the success to people’s positive reception of BJP’s governance, decision-making, and transparency. The Prime Minister lauded the absence of anti-incumbency within the party and credited the victory to every BJP worker, acknowledging their dedication to building the party.
In a strategic move, PM Modi took a dig at the Congress, presenting data on assembly elections over the decades to highlight BJP’s growing preference as the people’s choice for governance. He emphasized the BJP’s success in retaining power, surpassing the Congress and other parties in this regard.
Expressing condolences for those affected by Cyclone Michaung, PM Modi informed that BJP workers are actively engaged in providing assistance. He concluded the meeting with a positive outlook, stating, “Our party karyakartas are buoyed by the party’s performance in the recent Assembly elections and are looking forward to working even harder in the times to come, spreading the message of development among people of all walks of life.”
