In the ongoing Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case, the Allahabad High Court has reserved its order on the plea filed by the Muslim side. The plea seeks an adjournment of the scientific survey on the Shahi Idgah complex in Mathura. The court’s approval for the survey came in response to an application asserting that the land was part of the Shri Krishnajanmbhoomi and a place of worship for Hindus.

The survey, similar to the one conducted at the Gyanvapi Temple in Varanasi, is anticipated to provide insights into the complex historical and religious significance of the Shahi Idgah complex in Mathura.

Last week’s court decision has triggered discussions on the complex interplay between historical narratives, religious sentiments, and legal considerations. The order on the Muslim side’s plea is expected to be pronounced later today at 4 PM.

This development follows a petition filed by Lucknow resident Ranjana Agnihotri, who seeks the removal of the Shahi Idgah mosque from the complex. The petition contends that the mosque was built on temple land during the reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The ongoing legal proceedings underscore the broader debate surrounding religious sites and their historical context in India.

Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
