Dinesh Singh ‘Babbu’ has been nominated from Gurudaspur, while Taranjit Singh Sandhu will contest from Amritsar. Shushil Kumar Rinku will represent Jalandhar, and Hans Raj Hans will contest from Ferozepur. Meanwhile, Parnit Kaur has been nominated from Patiala.

Notably, actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol, who is currently the BJP MP from Gurdaspur, has been denied a ticket this time. Instead, the party has fielded Dinesh Singh ‘Babbu’ from the constituency.

In a show of confidence in rebel leaders, BJP has entrusted tickets to former Aam Aadmi Party member Shushil Kumar Rinku and Congress rebel Ravneet Singh Bittu, who recently defected to the BJP.
