New Delhi, RJD MP Manoj Jha delivered a pointed remark at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that Lord Ram would question him on issues like unemployment and inflation if he were to descend to earth after the Ayodhya event on January 22. The comment follows Congress leader Sam Pitroda’s assertion that the Ram Temple isn’t the top national issue.

“My faith is personal, and even God would be distressed by the ungraceful public display of it. If ‘Maryada Purushottam’ himself comes to earth after January 22 ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ he will ask questions to PM Modi. He will ask where is employment for my youths, and why is there so much inflation in the country?” Jha stated.

Lalu Yadav’s son, Tej Pratap Yadav, added a political angle, saying Lord Ram would only return home if the INDIA alliance wins the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The BJP criticized these remarks, accusing the INDI alliance of insulting Hindu religion.

PM Modi, ahead of the Ayodhya event, urged Ram devotees to visit Ayodhya at their convenience after the formal program on January 22.
