New Delhi, ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI, has gained considerable attention for its ability to engage in human-like conversational dialogue. Since its launch, this AI chatbot, powered by natural language processing, has proven its capabilities in responding to questions and generating various types of written content, from articles and social media posts to essays, code, and emails.

Far more than a mere question-and-answer tool, ChatGPT has showcased its versatility by composing essays, offering detailed descriptions of artwork, generating AI art prompts, engaging in philosophical discussions, and even writing code. Users have been actively exploring its capabilities by posing a wide array of questions, and some of the responses have been truly remarkable. However, a recent query led to an unexpected reaction from Congress Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor.

One user asked ChatGPT to compose the word ‘approved’ in Shashi Tharoor’s distinctive linguistic style. Unfortunately, the result was not to the Congress MP’s satisfaction.

The user’s prompt was, “How would Shashi Tharoor write ‘approved’ in his typical style?”

While ChatGPT provided a response, Shashi Tharoor expressed his dissatisfaction, stating, “Awful. Ask any bureaucrat who has sent me a file. I write ‘approved’!” He shared a screenshot of the AI-generated response to underscore his point.

The online community had mixed reactions to this exchange, with some finding it amusing and others commenting on the AI’s limitations in replicating a specific individual’s writing style.

This incident highlights the ongoing exploration of AI’s capabilities in mimicking human language and creativity, while also revealing the unique challenges in imitating the distinct writing style of a public figure like Shashi Tharoor.
