Nawada MP Vivek Thakur meets Union Ministers to discuss Nawada development campaign

Patna, Bihar,Continuing his campaign for a developed Nawada, BJP leader and Nawada MP Vivek Thakur met with Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to discuss various development projects for the district.

Electricity Solutions and Infrastructure Development

For a permanent solution to the district’s electricity problems, Thakur emphasized the need for the construction of a 132/33kv grid sub-station at Roh. He also advocated for power sub-stations under the RDSS scheme at Kulna in Akbarpur, Bastivigha in Nardiganj, and Khanpur in Hisula. Additionally, he requested electricity supply through high tension wires to several villages near Hardiya Ham of Rajauli, including Kushdariya, Pakali, Jamundaha, Nawadih, Jharahi, Delwa, Pipra, Paratonia, Chordi, and Kumbhiyatari.

Water Supply and Park Construction

During his meeting with Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Thakur appealed for the installation of handpumps at every intersection in Nawada Lok Sabha through CSR initiatives. He also requested the construction of a beautiful park in Nawada city to enhance the local environment and provide recreational space for residents.

Railway System Improvements

Thakur discussed several railway-related issues with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He called for the continuous construction of the ROB at the railway gate near Nawada station, a new railway line from Nawada to Bihar Sharif, and the extension of Shramjeevi and Rajgrih Intercity Express to Tilaiya Junction. Thakur also sought the extension of the Mahabodhi Express to Nawada Station, rapid construction of the Barbigha-Patna Navi Rail Line, and renaming Barbigha station to Dr. Shri Krishna Singh station. Other requests included a ticket reservation counter at Kasichak station, general railway ticket counters on both platforms at Nawada station, and the construction of authorized railway level crossing gates near Chatar Halt and Manjeer village near Warisaliganj station.

MP Vivek Thakur’s efforts highlight his ongoing commitment to the development and improvement of infrastructure and public services in Nawada, ensuring that the pledge for a developed Nawada continues to advance.
