In the final budget session of the Parliament today, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude for the Ram Temple, stating that there is a determination in the country to make India a developed nation in the next 25 years. Addressing the last day of the 17th Lok Sabha, he emphasized the need for a 100% productivity commitment in the next parliament. PM Modi highlighted achievements such as the abrogation of Article 370, the enactment of laws for women’s reservation and against triple talaq, and the passing of various bills.
PM Modi remarked that the last five years witnessed reforms, performance, and transformation in the country. He underscored the significance of experiencing both reform and performance to witness visible changes. The PM expressed confidence that the 17th Lok Sabha’s endeavors will continue to bless the nation.
Looking ahead to the next 25 years, PM Modi emphasized the importance of aspirations, expectations, dreams, and resolutions for the country. He celebrated the removal of Article 370, stating that it revealed the true essence of the Constitution, and expressed pride in the upcoming generation living with their own justice system.
PM Modi acknowledged the historical association with the British legal system for 75 years and expressed pride that the next generation will have its own justice system. He credited the current term for transformative improvements, forming a robust foundation for 21st-century India.
Highlighting the productivity of the 17th Lok Sabha at 97%, PM Modi pledged to maintain 100% productivity in the 18th Lok Sabha. He emphasized the upcoming 25 years as crucial for the nation, envisioning desired outcomes through collective dreams and resolutions.
PM Modi acknowledged that elections are approaching, causing concern for some, but stressed the importance of this democratic aspect, stating that it is accepted with pride. He celebrated India’s presidency of the G20 as a significant honor, showcasing the country’s capabilities and identity globally.
Acknowledging Lok Sabha Speaker Birla’s decision to construct a new parliament building, PM Modi credited it for the acquisition of the new parliament structure.
