In a recent statement, Union Minister Giriraj Singh downplayed the significance of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming ‘Nyay Yatra,’ scheduled to commence on January 14. Singh asserted that the invite extended to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi holds more importance for the nation.
The Congress had recently announced the ‘Nyay Yatra,’ a rally led by Rahul Gandhi, spanning 6,200 km from Imphal to Mumbai, covering several states. Scheduled to conclude on March 20, the yatra aims to engage with various sections of society, including youth, women, and marginalized communities.
Speaking to ANI, Giriraj Singh took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, stating, “This is an India of the 21st century, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the efforts to spread the message of Sanatan Dharma across the world. As for Rahul Gandhi, he should decide whether to launch a ‘Nyay Yatra’ or a ‘Gyan Yatra’ on January 14.”
Singh emphasized the significance of PM Modi’s involvement in the inauguration of a Sanatan Temple in Abu Dhabi, drawing parallels with Swami Vivekananda’s influence.
Addressing the statements from the Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding the Ram Temple’s grand opening in Ayodhya on January 22, Giriraj Singh accused the party of attempting to disrupt peace and incite violence. He criticized SP MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq for calling for the return of the Babri Masjid.
On the resignation of Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh as the JD(U) national president, Giriraj Singh commented on the internal state of the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, suggesting potential instability.
“Nitish Kumar has saved his seat by removing Lalan Singh, but he has fallen into the trap of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu Yadav can overthrow this government any day now by bringing more JD(U) MLAs on his side. Don’t be surprised if you hear Tejashwi Yadav being anointed as the new Bihar CM one of these days,” he claimed.
