The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its manifesto on Sunday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasizing its commitment to strengthening India’s four pillars: youth, women, the poor, and farmers. Modi stated that the focus is on dignified and quality life, along with job creation through investment. Here are the major highlights from the BJP’s manifesto:

1. Free Healthcare for Elderly: Individuals above 70 years of age, regardless of their economic status, will be covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

2. Free Ration for Five Years: The BJP promises to continue the scheme of providing free ration for the next five years, ensuring food security for all.

3. Job Guarantee: The manifesto places significant emphasis on job creation, particularly through various schemes.

4. Women Empowerment: The BJP pledges to implement the Women’s Reservation Bill in its third term.

5. Improving Farming: Commitment to enhancing farming practices and implementing various schemes for farmers.

6. Ramayana Festival and Ayodhya Development: Plans to celebrate Ramayana Festival globally and further develop Ayodhya.

7. Implementation of Indian Justice System: Ensuring the application of the Indian legal system effectively.

8. One Nation, One Election: Proposal to implement simultaneous elections across the nation.

The BJP’s manifesto launch event, attended by senior party leaders including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, marked the beginning of the campaign for the upcoming general elections. Prime Minister Modi stated that the release of the BJP’s manifesto was eagerly awaited across the country, emphasizing the party’s track record of fulfilling its promises over the past decade.
