Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has set off from Patna for a roadshow in Nawada. Accompanied by JDU leaders Vijay Chaudhary and Sanjay Jha, Kumar is conducting a roadshow for the first time via bus, aiming to secure victory for BJP candidate Vivek Thakur. This bus has been specially designed as the “Nishchay Rath,” bearing inscriptions of Bihar’s achievements by the state government. One side of the bus reads, “Employment means Nitish Kumar,” while the other side states, “Whole Bihar is our family.” The bus is named “Nishchay Rath.” The Chief Minister boarded the bus around 11:30 AM, along with Sanjay Jha and Vijay Chaudhary. Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in Nawada on April 19 as part of the first phase.

Chief Minister Utilizes Full Force

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has shifted to full election mode since Friday. He is exerting his full force to ensure victory for the NDA on all 40 seats in Bihar and to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of 400 plus seats. Under this initiative, Nitish Kumar will conduct roadshows in various Lok Sabha constituencies to appeal to people to vote for the NDA. This campaign will kick off from Nawada. Boarding a specially prepared bus, Nitish Kumar will engage with people through roadshows in Nawada. Another inscription on the bus reads, “Service is our religion.” The bus has been named “Nishchay Rath” to respond to Tejashwi Yadav’s claim that the RJD provided jobs to millions of people during its 17-month tenure.

Vivek Thakur Contesting from Nawada

In seat sharing, the Nawada seat has gone to the BJP in the NDA alliance. BJP has fielded Padma Shri C.P. Thakur’s son Vivek Thakur in the Nawada arena. It is being claimed that Vivek Thakur will win the Nawada seat with the support of the Bhumihar community. However, the Kushwaha community also holds a significant presence in Nawada’s vote bank. In view of this, Shravan Kushwaha has been fielded by the Mahagathbandhan. Shravan Kushwaha is the RJD candidate. Tejashwi Yadav is sweating it out in the constituency to ensure victory for his candidate. Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a rally in Nawada. The PM was accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the stage. This seat was previously with LJP’s Ram Vilas Paswan. In 2019, Chandan Kumar, the younger brother of Surajbhan, won from here. This time, LJP has returned this seat to BJP.
