Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Members of Parliament into the newly inaugurated Parliament building in Delhi, urging them to put aside past conflicts. The Lok Sabha proceedings resumed in this newly inaugurated space, which the Prime Minister stated embodies the aspirations of India’s 1.4 billion citizens.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi remarked, “The elections are still distant, and the time we have left, I firmly believe that the conduct here will determine who deserves to sit and who doesn’t…”

Lawmakers have convened in Delhi for a special five-day Parliament session, marked by this historic event.
