Chandigarh, The Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association has revoked the membership of three lawyers, namely Gurvinder Singh Sandhu, Vikram Kumar, and Dhrupwinder Brar. This action comes in response to an alleged incident of misbehavior and manhandling reported at the high court on December 22.

The association stated that these members engaged in misbehavior and manhandled senior lawyers during a meeting at the Main Bar Room. Importantly, the cancellation of their membership does not affect their ability to appear before the high court.

The decision was made following the association’s rules and regulations, and it was taken after serving show cause notices to the concerned members. The issue was discussed at the general house meeting of the Bar body held on Thursday, as mentioned in the association’s statement.
