Kolkata – During her ongoing 12-day excursion to Dubai and Spain, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo, Mamata Banerjee, encountered a significant political inquiry. Banerjee, displaying her characteristic political acumen, responded with a confident smile, stating, “If we garner the support of the people, we have the potential to ascend to power in the near future.”
This exchange occurred at Dubai International Airport Lounge, where Banerjee and Wickremesinghe engaged in an impromptu discussion. The West Bengal Chief Minister took this opportunity to extend an invitation to the Sri Lankan President for the Bengal Global Business Summit 2023, scheduled for November.
