In the midst of ongoing security operations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar delivered a powerful message to India’s adversaries. He warned that those who engage in warfare against India may find their children raised by others. The minister emphasized India’s desire for peace but underscored the nation’s determination not to be intimidated.

“India has seen war and does not want war but if you go to war with India, someone else will raise your children,” Minister Chandrasekhar stated in a tweet. He further asserted that the New India would not back down and highlighted the modernization and technological advancements of the Indian Military, cautioning potential adversaries to exercise prudence.

“India has enemies – These enemies want to stop India’s rise. But they should know this. Indian Military is now a modernized high-tech and lethal machine – make no mistake about it. You will be wise to avoid it,” the minister emphasized in response to a tweet discussing the Army’s use of advanced equipment for surveillance and firepower delivery in ongoing operations.

Tragically, the Anantnag operations, which began on Tuesday, resulted in the martyrdom of four security personnel, including Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer, 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Ashish Dhonchak, Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat, and rifleman Ravi Kumar Rana. The security forces employed drones and helicopters to track terrorists hiding in the forest at Gadole in the Kokernag area.

Simultaneously, in Baramulla, three terrorists were killed while attempting to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in the Hathlanga area. Brigadier P M S Dhillon accused the Pakistan Army of providing cover fire to the terrorists and supporting their infiltration efforts. He emphasized the Pakistan Army’s involvement in destabilizing peace in Kashmir.

Ravinder Raina, the BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit chief, asserted that Pakistan would face severe consequences for its continuous sponsorship of terrorist activities in Kashmir.

The operations in the forest area to apprehend the terrorists have entered their fifth day. Despite adverse weather conditions, the operation has continued uninterrupted. Security officials believe that the operation is in its final stages and that the terrorists will be neutralized soon. One of the terrorists, believed to be Uzair Khan, is familiar with the terrain and has been operating in the region. He joined the Lashkar-e-Taiba last year and quickly rose to the rank of a commander within a year.
