UPSC declares IAS 2023 results: Lucknow’s Aditya Srivastava tops exam

Civil Services Examination 2023: The UPSC has released the final result of the Indian Administrative Service 2023 examination. Aditya Srivastava from Lucknow has secured the top position in the examination. The UPSC announced the results of this examination this afternoon. According to the result, a total of 1016 candidates have passed this examination. According to the result, there are 347 candidates from the general category, 115 from EWS, 303 from OBC, 165 from Scheduled Caste, and 86 from Scheduled Tribe. It is noteworthy that the interview for the Civil Services Examination 2023 was conducted between January and April 2024.**

Two Women in the Top Five

The list of toppers includes two women in the top five, along with three men. The topper is Aditya Srivastava, who was a student at IIT Kanpur. Animesh Pradhan secured the second position, while Donuru Ananya Reddy secured the third position. P.K. Siddharth Ramkumar secured the fourth position, while Ruhaani secured the fifth position. It is known that every year the Union Public Service Commission conducts the Civil Services Examination, which is conducted at three levels. First the preliminary, then the mains, and finally the interview. Swati Sharma from Jamshedpur secured the 17th rank, while Sakshi Jamuar from Gadwa secured the 89th rank.

Top of the Indian Administrative Service

Candidates appearing for the Civil Services Examination get an opportunity to contribute to the country’s most prestigious services. The Indian Administrative Service is considered the topmost, known as the IAS. After that comes the Indian Foreign Service, i.e., the IFS, then the Indian Police Service, i.e., the IPS, and then appointments are made in Central Group Services based on their ranking.

Prime Minister Modi Congratulates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the candidates who passed the Civil Services Examination and said that their efforts will fulfill the dream of a new India. He also sent a message to the unsuccessful candidates, saying that they will have many more opportunities to succeed. There is no shortage of opportunities in India. It is known that people from states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh start preparing for the Civil Services Examination right after the 10th standard. In Bihar, the percentage of candidates passing the IAS examination has always been higher.
