In a recent statement to reporters in Warangal, BRS MLC Kavitha clarified that the decision to acquire 22 Toyota Land Cruisers by the security wing had no involvement from former Chief Minister KCR. Kavitha emphasized that security arrangements for VIPs are handled by the police and security agencies, with politicians having no role in such matters.

Addressing recent comments by current CM Revanth Reddy, Kavitha stated that the protocol for any Chief Minister is determined by the security wing, intelligence, and police. She expressed disappointment in the CM’s stance, asserting that leaders in the past decade never interfered in the type of security provided by the police.

Kavitha concluded by urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant national festival status to the Sammakka Saaramma Jatra, a tribal festival equated to a South Indian Kumbh Mela. She noted that representations on this matter have been submitted to PM Modi.
