Amit Shah in Bihar: Amit Shah, the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, kicked off the election campaign in Bihar in support of NDA candidates. Addressing a rally in Gaya district’s Guraru, Shah paid homage to the Surya Temple before addressing the gathering. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of Karpoori Thakur with the Bharat Ratna, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to honoring the marginalized. Shah urged voters to help Modi surpass the 400-seat mark to propel India’s economy to third place globally.

Ram Lalla’s First Birthday Celebration: Shah mentioned that the Congress-RJD coalition obstructed the construction of the Ram Temple. He announced the upcoming celebration of Ram Lalla’s birthday on April 17, emphasizing Modi’s decisive actions, including the revocation of Article 370. Shah criticized previous governments for their weak stance on terrorism, contrasting it with Modi’s proactive approach, particularly after the Pulwama attack.

Attack on Corruption: Shah reiterated the government’s stance against corruption, stating that perpetrators must face imprisonment for looting the nation’s resources. He assured that the Modi government would not tolerate corruption and those involved would be held accountable.

Appeal for Votes: Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi appealed for support for BJP candidate Sushil Kumar Singh in Aurangabad. He predicted NDA winning more than 400 seats and urged voters in Gaya and Aurangabad to cast their ballots in favor of the BJP candidates.

Shah’s Arrival: Shah arrived in Guraru via helicopter after flying from Delhi, accompanied by senior Bihar BJP leaders. This event follows his address at a BJP backward class mega convention in Paliganj, Patna, last month.

Dual Lok Sabha Constituencies Addressed: Guraru falls within Gaya district, while Aurangabad constitutes a separate Lok Sabha constituency. Shah’s presence at one rally effectively covered two Lok Sabha constituencies, supporting NDA candidates in both areas. Sushil Kumar Singh is the BJP candidate for Aurangabad, while former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi is active in Gaya.
