The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the date for the Phase-3 examination for school teacher recruitment. While confirming the exam date on Tuesday, the Bihar Public Service Commission also clarified that there might be slight changes regarding the selection process. However, online applications will be accepted from February. BPSC will receive online applications from February 10 to 23.

Approximately one lakh positions will be examined in this phase, including vacancies for classes 1 to 5, 6 to 9, and 11 to 12.

No Negative Marking

BPSC has explicitly stated that there will be no negative marking in the TRE Phase 3 examination. The BPSC Chairman, during discussions with journalists, mentioned that this time there will be a single paper, and the exam duration will be two and a half hours. The paper will consist of a language section in part one, general studies in part two, and a subject-related section in part three. Part one will be a qualifying subject, and everyone must pass it, with 30 questions worth 30 marks. Similarly, general studies will have 40 questions worth 40 marks, and for the subject related to the teaching position, 80 questions worth 80 marks will be asked.

Merit List Based on Language Qualification

BPSC has clarified that the merit list will be prepared only after qualifying in the language section. The commission also confirmed that the exam syllabus will be based on NCERT and SCERT.

Note: The BPSC is set to conduct the examination for various teaching positions, with the application window open from February 10 to 23.
