Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Saturday that India is on track to become a $5 trillion economy by the end of 2025. Shah attributed this growth to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting India’s exponential progress across various fronts in the past decade.
During the valedictory session of the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, Shah highlighted PM Modi’s ambitious goal for India to become the No.1 country across all sectors worldwide by 2047. He emphasized India’s significant rise from the 11th to the fifth-largest economy globally between 2014 and 2023.
Shah praised PM Modi’s efforts against climate change, initiatives like Make in India to boost GDP, and leadership in the global campaign for a terror-free world. He also cited the Delhi Declaration at the G-20 summit as a noteworthy diplomatic achievement for India.
The Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, inaugurated by PM Modi, focused on the principles of “Vocal for Local and Local for Global.” The two-day event showcased over 15 investor-friendly policies, emphasizing good governance, a supportive regulatory framework, and sustainable practices.
