Bihar Tourism: In a bid to attract tourists during the summer holidays and provide them with convenient travel options, the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) has launched an affordable tour package. The package includes visits to Patna, Pawapuri, Kakolat, Nalanda, Rajgir, and Bodh Gaya. This one-day tour package is priced at INR 2700, covering meals, water, entry tickets, and more. These tours will be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Four Types of Tour Packages
According to Suman Kumar, Manager (Travel and Trade) at BSTDC, four types of packages have been designed:
1. Patna to Pawapuri and Kakolat Package: This package costs INR 2700 per person.
2. Patna Sightseeing Package: This includes visits to Gandhi Maidan, Bihar Museum, Gurudwara, Buddha Smriti Park, Marine Drive, and an evening Ganges cruise. This package also costs INR 2700 per person.
3. Patna-Nalanda and Rajgir Package: This package includes visits to Nalanda Mahavihara, Museum, Glass Bridge, Jungle Safari, and Ropeway, priced at INR 3500 per person.
4. Patna-Bodh Gaya Package: This tour covers Vishnupad Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, an 80-foot Buddha statue, and other monuments, costing INR 2600 per person.
Included Amenities
These packages offer breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks, along with a guide, mineral water, and entry tickets to monuments. Transportation will be provided in an air-conditioned traveler vehicle. Booking for these packages is now open and will be conducted offline.
