He commended the 97% productivity of the 17th Lok Sabha, expressing confidence in achieving 100% productivity in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha.
PM Modi termed the last five years as historic, marking a period of ‘Reform, Perform, and Transform’ for the nation. He lauded Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for his consistent guidance and balanced leadership, acknowledging his resilience in steering the house through moments of tension.
Highlighting the decision to construct a new Parliament building, PM Modi credited Speaker Birla for the initiative, resulting in a new landmark for the nation. He also celebrated India’s role in presiding over the G20, recognizing the collective efforts of each state in projecting India’s capabilities on the global stage.
In a vision for the next 25 years, Prime Minister Modi expressed the collective aspiration to transform India into a developed nation. He concluded his address by urging the next Lok Sabha to commit to 100% productivity.
PM Modi also reflected on the achievements of the 17th Lok Sabha, citing the passage of 30 bills, including the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the creation of laws for women’s reservation, legislation against triple talaq, and several other transformative measures.
