Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Global Business Summit 2024 held in Delhi, emphasizing India’s time for disintegration, development, and diversification. He stated that global confidence in India is consistently growing, with economic growth on the rise and fiscal deficits decreasing. PM Modi highlighted the need to increase income and reduce poverty, noting that 25 crore people have emerged from poverty in the last decade.

Taking a direct jab at the Congress, PM Modi accused the party of allowing 10 crore fraudulent beneficiaries during its tenure, including non-existent individuals and widows who were never mothers. He asserted that his government eliminated these fake names, emphasizing the success of direct transfers where every rupee translates to 100 paise reaching the intended recipient.

In his speech, PM Modi expressed his commitment to securing the future of upcoming generations, distancing himself from politics where the treasury is emptied for four extra votes. He underscored the significance of financial management in decision-making, especially in the context of certain political factions’ perspectives on electricity, cautioning against potential damage to the country’s power system.
