In the wake of dense fog blanketing the north-central region along the Tundala-Kanpur-Prayagraj-Pt Deen Dayal Upadhaya (DDU) Junction mainline route, several trains to and from Patna Junction encountered significant delays ranging from 2 to 12 hours. Passengers were severely affected as trains struggled to maintain their schedules amid poor visibility.

According to sources from the Danapur railway control room, the New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal Tejas Rajdhani Express (12310) arrived at Patna Junction with a delay of at least 5 hours and 16 minutes. The New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal Sampoorna Kranti Express (12394) experienced a delay of 6 hours and 15 minutes. Shramjeevi Express (12392) lagged behind by 8 hours and 33 minutes, while New Delhi-Islampur Magadh Express (20802) faced a delay of 7 hours.

Anand Vihar-Danapur Jansadharan Express (13258) witnessed a delay of 7 hours, and Anand Vihar-Kolkata special (03118) arrived at Patna 12 hours later than scheduled on Friday. The Delhi-Kamakhya Bhramputra Mail (15657) reported a 3-hour delay upon reaching Patna Junction, and New Delhi-Silchar Express (14038) reached Patliputra Junction 4 hours behind schedule.

Other trains, including Islampur-Hatia Express (18623), New Delhi-Howrah Poorva Express (12304), Vaso da Gama-Patna Express (12741), Anand Vihar-Madhupur Humsafar Express (12236), Anand Vihar-Jogbani Express (12488), and Anand Vihar-Bhagalpur Vikramshila Express (12368), faced delays ranging from 2 to 11 hours.

Passengers are advised to check for real-time updates and make necessary adjustments to their travel plans considering the ongoing weather conditions.
