In a significant development, Nitish Kumar has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time. Accompanying him, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha took their oaths as Deputy Chief Ministers. The swearing-in ceremony, attended by eight cabinet ministers, took place at the Raj Bhavan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nitish Kumar on assuming office, expressing confidence in the new government’s commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the state’s people and ensuring development. PM Modi shared his best wishes on social media, emphasizing the dedication of the NDA government in Bihar.

In response, Samrat Chaudhary expressed gratitude to PM Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, and Home Minister Amit Shah for their support. He pledged to contribute wholeheartedly to Bihar’s development as the Deputy Chief Minister.
Vijay Sinha, the newly appointed Deputy Chief Minister, also conveyed his thanks, expressing commitment to uphold the dignity of the position and contribute to Bihar’s progress. He acknowledged the trust placed in him by the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Modi.
