Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) has forged an agreement with Shell India Markets to establish public charging stations nationwide. According to TPEM’s data, the placement of these charging stations will be strategically determined to cater to the growing number of Tata EV users, exceeding 140,000 across Indian roads. Balaji Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer of TPEM, emphasized the importance of leveraging existing charging infrastructure to mainstream EV adoption, especially as customer bases continue to expand. Sanjay Varke, Director of Shell India Markets, reaffirmed the commitment to redefine the EV charging experience by offering integrated solutions prioritizing convenience, safety, and environmental friendliness.
