Ahmedabad, Gujarat— In a momentous reception, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon his arrival in Gujarat for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. The two leaders conducted a roadshow in the city as part of the summit’s events.
Accompanied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and other officials, the airport witnessed a ceremonial guard of honour for the esteemed guest.
The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, inaugurated by PM Modi, is attracting attention with its diverse participation, including other world leaders like Timor Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta. The summit, initiated in 2003 under Modi’s stewardship, spans from January 10-12, focusing on global topics such as Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility, and Renewable Energy.
The UAE President’s presence adds a unique dimension to the summit, as PM Modi expressed his joy at the visit, highlighting the historical ties and the positive impact of the Vibrant Gujarat platform on the state’s growth.
The summit is hosting various events, including seminars, conferences, and a global trade show featuring cutting-edge products. With 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations, this edition aims to showcase investment opportunities, emphasizing sectors like E-mobility, Start-ups, MSMEs, Blue Economy, Green Energy, and Smart Infrastructure.
