The Bihar Weather Department has forecasted the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by hail in many places in the southern parts of the state, including Rohtas, Bhabhua, Aurangabad, Nalanda, Patna, and Buxar, over the next 24 hours.
A yellow alert has been issued regarding this. Additionally, there is a likelihood of rainfall in Patna and its surrounding regions for the next three days. A decrease in maximum temperatures by two to three degrees Celsius is anticipated after 48 hours in the city.
This change in Bihar’s weather is attributed to active western disturbances in the western Himalayan regions and the formation of systems in the Assam-Jharkhand and northwestern Uttar Pradesh areas.
In the capital city of Patna, intermittent rainfall has been observed for the past three hours, providing relief from the heat to the residents. The Weather Department predicts further changes in Bihar’s weather over the next few days.
Residents are advised to expect winds blowing at speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour in most parts of the state starting Tuesday.
